Abu,I don't think Bob gets many people that want to fish chums and I don't think he does the sky and I don't hear of John fishing the north coast rivers,I do get your point though.

Thank you for your endorsement on the smoker pucks thread and as for the inquiry about becoming an official test smoker and receiving a t-shirt, we are taking it into consideration...once the t-shirts are designed and printed, i think we can get one to you... have you considered changing your guide service to something a little more appetizing or soft and subtle, like smokin' john's guide service or dawg catcher's guide service, haha.

I think there were only a couple of customers that wanted to retain a couple of chums each, that's where the pics came from. I think it would be safe to say 99.999% of the chums are released.

That's the hang-up I have with the chum reports. People say dogs don't get any respect like say a steelhead. Well how does bonking a few out of a depressed run do any good.

I guess it could be said that English Pete had the same line of thinking.

Go out and catch a bunch of dogs..... fine with me. Allow clients to bonk them just because its legal.... dumb.

i have to say that in my years of being on these boards i've not seen a guide go about drumming up buissness the way RC does. just about every thread gets slammed or locked. it can't be that productive i'd think.
