Revo Inshore drag renew & bearing lube tutorial.

I would imagine this info could be used on any of the smaller revos.

Honestly, I'll just be happy if my Revo works this year and doesn't end up back at the factory for repairs.

Lookin' forward to huckin' some gear with the new Toro 50! Can't wait to slap on 50 yards of 50lb UG, cranking the drag to 22lb. and yarding in some nates with my BBR966!

laugh

Looks like the drag power on the Revo/Toro lineup might be overstated by a few lbs...... smirk

Some of the numbers being thrown around are nuts. If its all true crank it down & fish it. My bet is it would rip the reel out of the reel-seat & strip all the guides off yer rod on its merry way.

You could dangle them nates like a bassmaster with that rig grin

Speaking of bassmasters and new-found celebrity, you need some new duds.
Kinda like what the bassmasters wear.....image, sponsors, chit like that.
You have the new Toro, celebrity...I'm thinkin' ABU could kick some coinage your way.....and some new outfits grin

Pic #2 illustrates some early design issues....I think they have it fixed now.

Sorry to disappoint you DD, but Toff already has the ABU sponsorship all to himself.

Man, if I didn't know any better DD, I'd swear that last photo was of Tiger Woods with his sponsors......

I wouldn't worry about that.
If the ABU brass saw you sashayin' around the Sportsman's Show in one of those outfits, they'd sign you on the spot.
Just get the new one with the Kevlar ass in it and stay away from cow pastures.

I used a Toro 51 last summer to cast swimbaits and small iron to tuna. I've never checked the 'poundage' of the drag...but it will stop an albi after hook-up.
