What a sad story for an Olympic Gold contender. He was skating in the gold expected to Win--the 8th lap of the 10,000m. AND THE COACH WAS WRONG!!! He got DQ'd after his coach yelled for him to change lanes.

Did you see the semi of the team cross country sprint? Belarus was in the lead into the last sprint to the finish and took the wrong track to the exchange area instead of the finish line. DQ'd. I wouldn't want to go back to my country after that one.

I was watching that event when it happened and it was sad to see. Would have set the Olympic record as well. And worst of all it was not his fault with the coach making the call. I feel sorry for both of them.

Yep, Dutch soil could be hazardous to his health.
Maybe the Canadians will grant him asylum

Have you guys heard the rest of the story about that skater? He was a punk. Awesome that his coach boned him like that.
