Kalaloch is an NPS campground right on the ocean. Minnie Peterson, Willoughby, and Cottonwood are free DNR campgrounds in addition to Oxbow on the Hoh. Not sure if Bogachiel State Park is open this time of year, right on the river at Hwy 101. There are others, so you have plenty of choices.

I pretty much always stay at Allen bar. I like to launch the boat the night before, so we can just get up and take off.

But, that's just me.

Willoughby is great. Easy to stretch tarps with the tree placement in that camp ground. If you have a camper then I would check out the bogie.

I'd just fish all day and pick a camp spot on whichever valley you find yourself in.

Lot's of campsites in the area.

I prefer the NP camp grounds as they are usually pretty quit and well maintained. The Hoh and Mora being the two I stay at most often.

Bogey State Park has showers and they don't seem to mind the pup running around. This is a good option if you have a camper. It also has one site with covered picnic tables which is my choice in rainstorms.
