Heading up to Lk Roosevelt in our 22' trailer, planning on fishing for bass and trout out of FG Pram for a few days, then try the upper river near Northport. How is the camping up that way? Any body flyfish up that way?

I've always been intruiged by that area. Looking forward to your report.

Had some buddies up fishing it last weekend. They knocked'em dead. Got nine bows with biggest being 4.5 lbs and the smallest around 20inches. They were not flyfishing but bouncing corkies. They dropped in at Chinabend and ran north. From there fishing mainly the river mouths. Lots of camping spots as well. Check out north gorge if the highschoolers are not taking over the campground or any of the endless others up and down. Bring sunscreen as I am burnt to crap after teh tourny fishing out of kettle last weekend.

Thanks for the info, I will be bank fishing/wading upper areas and using the pram in the lake. I have flyfished the lake for trout and bass but not the upper river, have to stop up at Desert Aire for the 4th then off to the lake.
