This is a 16ft 1995 Clackacraft drift boat, Steelheader Deluxe model with 56” bottom. Features include two tone paint (dark blue and light gray), a side release anchor system, a new 30# pyramid anchor (never used), a 40# chain anchor, 2 adjustable swivel passenger seats, and 3 Fish-On rod holders with 4 bases mounted in various locations. There is a dry box in the back that has always been kept vented and clean (doesn’t smell). There is a pair of 9’ Sawyer Counter-Balanced oars, with the fiberglass shafts and wood tips/handles, plus a spare tip piece. There is also a spare Sawyer Lite one-piece wood oar that I carried for emergencies. The trailer is a Baker, painted black, and in very good shape aside from normal road use. This boat is in excellent condition. It has always been garaged, and hasn’t been in the water for the past three years.
Fiberglass boats have a huge advantage in low water when you need to slide over rocks all day, a big plus in the summer. They’re quiet, cooler in hot weather, warmer in cold weather, and light-weight. This model has the low profile (23” at the oar locks) which is real nice when the wind is blowing too. Clackacraft is the best glass boat manufacturer, in my opinion, and I never once regretted switching to this from an aluminum boat 12 years ago.
The price is $3900. I’m in Mukilteo if you’d like to take a look at it. PM or email me at djmrp@msn.com.
