your average skok fisherman thinks that a drop of mike's shrimp oil on their #14 black corky qualifies as bait. them kings don't like eggs, that's why we save them for steelhead...

Tree stand would be my choice. Not only will you have a great view but can drop manpoo right out of your perch and keep it off the trails while feeding the tree.

What's with the rubber bands? Never understood that one..... Skokomish fishermen wear them on the end of their winkies so they don't have to leave the honey hole to piss...typically the small dental rubber bands. Fish on... Todd Alright now that's pretty funny. . .I've been trying really hard not to jump into this POS thread but now I'm sucked in. Quality material here for anybody trying to crack the Skok's secrets, fb

My buddy was working near there and took a drive to check it out and said the indians were netting a bunch of em and he could see em in the river swimmin around. Kinda early but maybe that means that 29k they predicted may show. Should be so good that you only need step ladders.

I saw J&L was running some skok specials on ebay. Payment must be made in full as soon as trip is purchased.

Does he supply the ladder or do you have to bring your own?

What's with the rubber bands? Never understood that one..... Simple, the band tied in along the egg loop is there to hold the sand shrimp. Larger diameter of the band helps avoid cutting through the soft bait. The band is tied to come out the top end of the knot to facilitate replacing the bait on the hook below the float.
