My advice: Bring a case of Busch Ice to trade for elbow room. ..And wear eye protection to protect against flying treble hooks. This thread has high entertainment potential...... I'm having lolz already:

At this point, anyone who fishes the Skok is guilty by association. Too bad, the fish are high quality eaters.

I am already tying up leaders with black yarn although sometimes I do better with a plain red hook.

Theres plenty of other rivers that have similar problesm like the Skokomish and your right these early arriving fish have quality meat and great eggs. I do fish this river each year and try to avoid the weekends and stick to weekday evenings, less crowds and fewer problems. It's a real shame, great accessabiity, quality fish, but some bad apples really ruin it for everyone else. I guess I'm guilty as charged.

We pack out trash and mono each time we fish in addition others trash left behind, then go back in a few days and haul out more from the same area, disgusting.
Common people, wake up! Pack it in, pack it out..........
