The ladder cracks me up, It can be a great river to fish, to bad too many knuckle heads screw it up. and too many baby ruth bars floating down the river

AuntyM AMEN!
I think after last years compelte trashing of the river, the fines placed on Mr. Hunter from running a illegal RV park, and the new rules in place I'm praying for better conditions.
Bring on Fish & Game, Sherriff, and whomever else can write some tickets, once you send a strong message it just might get better.
Hunter Farms is not allowing any campers (RV, trailers, etc) on the property, camping is allowed but only in tents. Wish they made is a day use only, last year you had guys on the river fishing at 1:00 in the morning.

The only vessel I'd run on that river would be a gunboat.
Fish on...
Todd Why don't you put your ladder on your gunboat then?

At this point, anyone who fishes the Skok is guilty by association. Too bad, the fish are high quality eaters. sort of makes me think of some guys i've run into on the satsop in january and february just looking like average fishermen, when i've seen them on the skokomish in august and october being complete animals. i always said i'd give up on that river when i moved away from olympia. it was a local opportunity to get into some good fishing, which is hard to come by in that area. that was my only excuse for fishing it the last 5 or 6 years...it was close to home. i won't be fishing it this season, because i moved to where you can get away from some of the idiots. if you're one of the guys driving down there from everett...you're a tool.

Parker, are you ready for your annual Skokie trip?? Give me a call.
I think they should keep all of you out-of-towners out of there unless you are invited by us locals...it was a lot better place when you guys weren't around.

Parker, are you ready for your annual Skokie trip?? Give me a call. You know it!!!! I say we get Fly and MiniFLy and put some hurt to those kingers in couple of weeks! PS. I've ordered up a set of the SIMM's HardBite Star Cleats for my G4 Wading boots! That should provide the extra grip/traction I need when encountering all those ManPoo Piles!

I like it that those dipshit tools from that "outsider" website are chiming in...proving that they are indeed dipshit tools. Welcome aboard!
Fish on...

I like to use those rvrworms on the Skok. Get the ones with the black tail, rig up the light bulb dibbler on a 12 foot leader, then throw the worm away. I don't care who you are, that's some funny chit right there!!! PS. Sure hope you were not wasting your money on the RVRSNGR hooks. Vision's work just fine for that and are WAY cheaper! Besides, since they are a light wire hook, one good yank when the game officers show up, and the hook bends right out and you're home free and off the hook...so to speak!

LBD floats too high...those fish really hug the bottom...go with black yarn instead...1/16 of an inch ought to do it.
Fish on...

What's with the rubber bands? Never understood that one..... Skokomish fishermen wear them on the end of their winkies so they don't have to leave the honey hole to piss...typically the small dental rubber bands. Fish on... Todd
