Just got back from Sekiu with my daughter, got in Monday night and fished Tuesday through Wednsday. Tuesday was a virtual sleepfest one small native coho, saw a couple of fish caught in front of the caves in the early light up close about 100'-120' talked to several guys who did hook up with a couple of kings but native and kicked 160' Wed was a little better with a better morning bite saw several taken in front of the caves downrigging about 100'-160' noticed the presence of bait flipping on the surface this morning which wasn't happening yesterday guy jigging in front landed a nice king,Slip Point slow yesterday and talked to a guy who also had fished the past three days said he had fished Mussolini this morning and saw nothing and he heard that the caves is where the bite was on(confirmed) action was on the change low slack before the big tides this week!Seems like a shot chinook decided to show up before the 15th silvers are few and small, good luck gonna stay a little closer to home and try to get some of our nisqually kings which I hear has been pretty good

F&W checks seem to show otherwise, at nearly a two fish per boat average last week. That's pretty damn good for this time of year. Should be good in the sound for a while longer.
