In my relentless pursuit of lead to make downrigger balls and the like I came across a pile of the stuff in the attached photos.

Its marked Magnum Lawerence Bullet Alloy With Tin, I know it for casting bullets. Was supprised to find 200lbs of new stuff at the scrap yard.

Any ideas why someone would sell it for scrap- of course my first idea was its stolen. Seems a shame to make downrigger balls out of it.

If anyone wants some to make bullets let me know
