stonefish King of the Beach Registered: 12/11/02 Posts: 5219 Loc: Carkeek Park	Decided to hit the Cowlitz for SRC's since the beach coho fishing has been less then stellar this year. Fished a big dry & nymph dropper combo today. Brought about a dozen cutts to hand. Biggest fish was 16". Got a few on the size 8 Orange Stimulator, but most fish came on the size 12 Lightning Bug or Copper John. Sorry for the lousy pic. SF Attachments _________________________ Go Dawgs! FleaFlickr02 River Nutrients Registered: 10/28/09 Posts: 3348	The pic's good enough to tell me that's a dandy of an SRC. I've seen smaller steelhead in the Cowlitz. Nice work! That SRC fishery on the Cowlitz is a shining example of a hatchery program that does what it's supposed to do (and nothing more).
