Anyone familiar with this scotch? I just purchased a bottle for a client and paid $75 for it. I think they may have screwed up the pricing by about half. Thinking about going back to pick up a couple more bottles.
If you like scotch whisky, I would recommend trying this brand......

Seems like a lot of money when you can get a [censored] ton of cheap booze that will get you just as drunk. I was more of a bourbon guy myself anyway.

I'd like to get familiar with it Neal, when's the party grin

Most who fish with me know I usually have a flask of scotch along, tucked away in the bag somewhere. Up north a month ago.. a dozen touches of Scotland's finest was on reserve for a post-30 pounder toast. The 30 pounder didn't happen, but the toast did grin

I'm a regular scotch drinker so I don't always buy the expensive stuff, but when I do, it's Glen or Laphroaig 13yo, MaCallan and the like. There are so many good scotches and not enough $$$.

I once saw a bottler named "Speyside" but it sounded too close to 'Spey Pride', and I passed on it grin

There tends to be an inverse relationship between the price and the hangover. Cuervo Gold= bad hangover---- Patron= a little foggy

I have a bit of a snobbish Scottish reputation myself as Riley would prolly agree. There is another somewhat harder to find Glenmorangie that is just filthy good called "Nectar"! Anyone who is serious must try it!

Gotta agree with Jerry's comment. wink

A clear mind is over rated.

It wasn't that long ago that McCallan's 18 yr old was under $65. Then in one jump it went to around $90. Within a year it became $155. Highway robbery.

Another use for my body after death.....instead of formaldehyde have scotch pumped through my veins. Or am I already there?
