i'm thinking of taking kenna over to the east side this weekend to look for a pheasant or 2. anybody hunted this area before? i'm asking, because she's just a pup, and if it's very crowded, i'll probably look elsewhere. she's chased a fair amount of birds, but she hasn't been shot over with a 12 ga., so i need to be cautious. i didn't get myself a westside permit, so that's out. any other ideas??

she's been shot around, but not over. it doesn't seem to frighten her too much. not any more than it would me if someone corked one off 50 yards away, but i certainly don't want to sour her on the whole deal. i might try a pay-to-hunt kind of thing, more of a controlled environment. i heard that there's a dude near bellingham who does release hunts and such. Acme something in demming. heard of him?

df, yeah i've been there before. it's a good place to go, and the folks there are really nice, but they have a membership fee of $85 + $150 for the birds. i'd do it, except i just dumped about $900 on vet bills..... catch-22??
