Does anybody have a current report for Riffe Lake or Swofford Pond from the bank? Also, how's the water level at Riffe, still around 40 feet below full?

Riffe is about thirty to forty feet below full pool as of Saturday Aug 11. Camping should be good around lake side and the fish are going to be biting good. We have been to Riffe every year for the last ten years on the last weekend in August and have never been disappointed with fishing. We camp for one week at lake side, last year the fish were somewhat on the small size 8 to 10 inches average but there were lots of them to be had. Some larger 14 inchers were mixed in as well. Wedding rings and small worms did the trick. Oh and lots o'beer. Can't wait to get there next week! Good luck.

We usually do about the same thing, we camp in the mossyrock campground. Right next to the lake. Its a great place. We usually troll some big flashers with a wedding ring on the end and shrimp.
Works Great!

OK, thanks Dustin and SkaGuy (Skagit Guy or Ska Guy?). I probably wont be able to make it up there until the end of August too. I don't have a boat though. frown I'm cool with that since I usually fish by the dam and catch fish everytime I go. When the wind isn't bad, that is. mad

Trust me we know about wind up there
We beached our boat near my uncles aluminum boat. We used a stern anchor and all that good stuff.
Well in the morning the wind picked up
and the boats started slamming into eachother. The aluminum boat one. Leaving some nice scratches in our boat and a small hole.
we now have a bigger anchor smile eek
