About 3+ inches here at Lake Marcel. Lovin' it! Although it scews up our driving and makes ends meet difficult, I still can't keep my eyes from staring out the window like a little kid! Yippeee! beer

Just a light dusting so far in East Vancouver....31 degrees.
Got the ol' Jeep started and the anti-freeze freshened up.

N Seattle looks like 5+ inches...awesome watching constant car crashes on the hill outside my house today. Heard some horror stories from people who are STILL on 405 after leaving work today at 4:30

15 degrees here, with a slight breeze that makes it feel a LOT colder...but the sun is burning thru the fog. Hopefully the Car Fairy came last night and took all the abandoned cars away from my neighborhood so I can get out today.

Fish on...

Looking downstream...(It was really dark this a.m., so I had to really slow down the shutter, hence the overexposure on the near stuff, even with a small aperature....)

More cold fuchsias...

Had to shovel a 5' drift of snow in front of my garage door so I couldl get the truck out to go to the gym. We had blizzard last night, which re-arranged the snow into some interesting piles, but why does it always want to pile up in front of the garage?

This is my first winter out here and what a difference from Seattle. It's a lot colder and more snow, but yet everything just coninues like normal. My neighborhood streets are plowed every day, the parking lots for the stores are plowed, its easy to get around, and no one abandons their cars. Saw that picture in the Times this morning of all of the abandoned cars on I-5.

It was 9 degrees this morning and we are supposed to go down to -14 tonight. More snow coming this weekend. Don't mind the snow, but that blizzard last night into this morning kind of sucked.

My neighbor insists I use his ATV with the snow plow on it, so I am taking him up on it today. Also going to do some drives for older people who can't shovel.

Most of the abandoned cars are gone in my 'hood, and even with the steep and icy hills, I managed to drive ten miles each way to get some much needed supplies...a case of beer and a carton of smokes smile

Fish on...

Nice photograph! It reminds me of one of my favorite rivers in Washington.
