Nice picture, nice bobber wink , nice fish thumbs

I've been using these floats for a month or so and really like how they fish. 3Rivers and Doug's Boats have these floats in stock right now.

I am pretty happy with my cheap dink floats, but next time I stop by 3 Rivers I will pick up a couple and give them a try.

OK...so my questions is:

What is the different between a Cleardrift float and a Drennan Piker float???????

Other than spelling.......Is one a bit diffent shape???? Paint diffent color???? 1 brand less expensive than the other?????

What, what, what????????

Thanks

If they came in a 11g and 8g size I would fish them everyday, the price is right! The 25g size is closer to the right size and works good for larger rivers but is still to big for most Oregon Rivers. wink

Id really like to try these floats out, only prob is they are no where near the Tacoma area. Might have to order some online and try them out. Have yet to find a float i really like, currently on the tall and slim dinks now. Like the looks and sizes of them though.

I fished them for the first time last week. I like them based on my initial use. Good price as well. Two of these for about the price of one Drennan.

I'm representing Rob of Cleardrift Floats here in the US (He's in B.C.), and I have been talking with Paul and Gabe @ OE/Sportco about carrying Cleardrifts. I just havent been able to get down to Fife to meet with Gabe yet and show him the goods to see if they want to place an order, but I will soon.

They are priced right and a quality float. I think 3RM is selling them for $2.58 a piece, and the Drennan's are in the $5.00 range per float.

I like Cleardrifts bcause they fish identically to my prior favorite float, the DNE's. They cast well, ride great in the water, have a great hi-vis top, and retreive without a huge wake.
One of my hangups with plastic floats in the past has been that they tend to develop leaks. I havent had a leaker yet with the Cleardrifts..& I know Rob has been working for some time developing a glueing method to keep the top and bottom of the float waterproof.
