At this time of the year I can only imagine the turkeys being stuffed. Like Zen Leecher, is his bird stuffed with Leeches and wooly buggers? Micro Brews would be stuffed with labels from his favorite brews. Mine you can only use your imagination on what i stuff my bird with. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Trout Master,
I think you watched too much American Pie.
I also read the part where you talked about stuffed turkies and then compared it to Zen Leecher. Starting to take offence over being called fat... and then I read the part about woolly buggers and leeches.... you are forgiven.
I will be adding to my leech and woolly bugger supply over this winter. Going to start tying tomorrow while waiting on the turkey to cook.
I've heard about some new New Age chenille colors out called Volcano and Halloween that I need to look into. From what I heard Halloween might do good in woolly buggers tied in crayfish colors.

The halloween bugger has been around for a while. I will also be busy tomarrow as I cook the bird for my family, then take it over to monm's house. The test tommarrow is for my girlfriend, to see if she can make good gravey. If she past's the test maybe I will be her troutmaster for along time. If she dosnt pass then, she's back to cleaning my lines and scrubbing the scum lines off my pontoon boat!

women were made to clean scum lines off boats!
err.... what's that dear??? Only emailing a friend..yes.. I'll put the dishes in the dishwasher tonight.
Now were was I?
yes.. they are supposed to clean lines and pontoon boats and tell us how big our fish are and that they've never seen a bigger fish. Come to think of that, that line might have a double meaning and they could be calling us dope's.
It was only last year I discovered the Midnight Fire color of new age chenille as the store I buy it from doesn't carry the full spectrum of it. And I don't get over to Kaufman's as often as I should.

Happy Thanksgiving back at you all. I didn't get out last weekend, something about really cleaning the bathroom for the guests this week. Didn't take that long, flushed the toilet and I was done.... Now the leaves are another matter.
Off to Mason County this weekend to hit a couple of lakes up there. Woolley buggers are probably the ticket, but plan to use a zonker that proved so successful on TM's last trip. I hope to emulate Jose rather than TM! All I heard during the day from TM was "did you get another one??" Then something I couldn't quite understand, but I don't think it was meant for young ears...
By best wishes over the holiday weekend to all the military wives, husbands, sons, daughters, moms and dads that can't be with their families due to the 9/11 terrorist act. I wish you all well. Thank you, and the other public service people, for your sacrifice.

What I said to Jose ,was something like "good job Jose for catching another trout" or something like that. Have a good one Micro Brew. Oh by the way I had a job interview on Monday. I should know more in a few days.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Hey TM, on this day the stuffer becomes the stuffed and as the saying goes...you are what you eat. Is this why I put nuts in my stuffing? To you all thanks for the tips over the last year. I am still looking forward to someday having the priveledge of meeting you. Maybe then I will be worthy of some kind of cool bb moniker. I just received a 'beginners fly tying kit' for my b-day and the long grey days of winter seem to be ideal for learning to tie up a few ugly buggers, I mean woolybuggers. Any advice for a beginner? How about a place for getting supplies? Also, I am looking for a second heavier rod but do not have the 'approved' funds from 'she who must be obeyed' to go all out. Any recommendations for something under 100.00?
