Married 25+ years raised 2 great kids,paid off home,had some good years.Fishing was never the issue as balance is the key. It all came down to one person not wanting to address hormonal/mental issues.......Financially, Divorce is brutal but the piece of mind and enormous relief is out of this world.The relationship with kids is so much better now that I wonder why I waited so long. Now I fish and do what I want when I want and I like it!

Well, she only owns and/or took exacly half my ass and the remaining half has little or no teeth marks on it. Kids spend two weeks on/off with each parent, no alimony and no child support.

Not only could I afford the divorce, I came out close to 6-figures richer.

I too came out of mine financially unscathed. 50-50 down the middle for assets, kid, and debt (not much of it). I kept everything that was mine including house and acreage, truck, boat etc. Only thing I sold was the new camper and we split the cash on that. She got her stuff and the rental properties. Glad I had no maintenance or child support!!!

Don't worry 2MANY...the women of Las Craigas are waiting for him. 11 days and counting. Sure hope the Polar Bear is comfy to sleep in

I did not, and don't call me Shirley. Actually, I just realized that I'm paying ZERO child support. Apparently we agreed that $41/month wasn't worth our times and efforts.

The wife and I damn near had identical incomes. Swap around who nows pays for their health care and add in the fatherly deductions do to days spent with the kids and voila. No child support.

Married 7 years in June. Wife only complains when I get skunked too many times in a row... otherwise she loves the fish I bring home and its pretty much the only hobby I enjoy.
