They fired him so quickly, it seems like maybe they have already started negotiations with another OC. Possibly McDaniels. That is certainly the name everyone is clamoring about.

With this type of move, sounds like they're going to draft or pick up a QB in free agency.

Cable was an understudy of Alex Gibbs. Cable ran the The Zone blocking scheme in Oakland and excelled! Great hire!
