Anyone out thier ever fish banks lake this early
in the spring.Iknow the water temp might be too cold for bass.Maybe Walleye or Trout?
Were going April 12, 13,th.
I would rather hear from fisherman than,the stuff they tell you at Wally's store. thanks let us know.

Banks should be productive for you this time of year. Especially walleye. Don't be surprised if you hook into a nice (20"+) 'bow either. I have heard of guys, it has happened to me too, inadvertantly catching large 'bows fishing for walleye. Watch out for the wind!

My step Dad used to fish for Walleye on the south end of the lake around this time of the year. I think he used nightcrawlers. I've tried fly fishing for Rainbows, but never had much luck. I did catch some monster crappie on the north end of the lake in May one year though. Good luck, Steve.
