Not the 6-12lb summer runs that we catch in the upper stretch of the Columbia. In Oct-Nov they have some spunk, but at best it's a 10min battle. Once winter hits, the steelies are pretty lethargic. Last year at Westport he was 6yo, and he just didn't have the strength and dexterity to last through the whole fight with the kings we were catching.
