About 5 years ago I got some hooks in a sample pack that had the barbs on the outside of the hook. At first I just tossed them aside in the tackle box as being a fad item. Last summer while a Riffe lake I lost a few hooks on the bottom and the only thing I had left were these "backwards" hooks. Turns out they were probably the best hooks I ever used. Did not loose one fish the entire day. Anybody know who makes those hooks? Thank you in advance for any help.

I had a sample pack of these also,I tried them and wasn't all that impressed. Anyways...I think the hooks I had were by Eagle Claw. Good Luck.

If you practice catch, photograph and release, why do you need barbs on your hooks?
