My buddy Barry fished Redondo yesterday morning and picked up two nice silvers and lost one at the boat.

Another friend of mine got a 28.5# king at the mouth of the Puyallup yesterday also. smile smile

Sushi, if you fish Redondo fish really shallow in the morning. You will catch something almost guaranteed. wink

are you fishing off your downrigger or with lead? i haven't had much luck above 50', though i may just get impatient and drop down earlier then i should. by the time i can see the sun i'm around 65', and drop as the sun goes up. do the fish seem to come up to feed at tide change, ive wondered about that.? thanks for the info.

I use the lead first and troll right on the surface when it is still dark or early morning. You can catch silvers on the surface all day long. If you see the bait boiling on the surface your gear should be there too.

I fished Redondo Friday afternoon and Saturday morning with no results. I did notice an over abundance of bait fish all around Redondo. I did see quite a few silvers caught Saturday morning but no kings. I will be hitting it again Sunday and Monday morning.
