Todays result was outstanding, 21 to the bank. All but 1 were in great shape. Best day i have had in a long time for anything. Pink was the magic color under a float.

Sturza, yeah, saw 1 winter caught 3 days ago in the lower green on pink yarn. And my buddy got 2 two days in a row just below Whitney bridge drifting the bank with eggs and a few summers up by the strawberry patch holes.

How many did you get that day EL? I got 2 today in about 45 minutes but the rain was too heavy. Pink jig still.

I hooked into a big ol' buck, about 15#, just after you left. I know he was huge because I saw him jump. I tried to keep him out of the fast water to no avail. Once he got into the fast water it was all over. It was a good battle!

Cool, those big bucks are strong as hell. Especially in the current LOL. I fished today in the rain and got 1 bite in about 45 minutes, then the downpour finnally soaked through my jacket and it was time to go. The water was up about 2 inches and pretty stained. Hopefully this squirt of rain will key in those fish in the lower river, and some chromies.

Once the rain slows down the fishing should be good. Looks like Friday is suppose to be good weather.

Finally got into some winter runs on the Green. The water was a little on the colored side today, I'd say 1-3 feet of visibility. I actually limited on 2 chrome brats. I think I got kinda lucky though. I fished 3 holes that are good fish producers without a strike. Then when I got to the next drift I caught these two fish on back to back casts. So I think I just ran into a pod of them or something. Ah well I love being lucky. So the winter runs are here, go get em. Good Luck
