That's a whole lotta fish for that lake. I wonder what kind of shape they are in? Hmmm, Dec 24 - never mind. :p
I'm in steelhead mode now or I'd consider it. fight (internal dialog: "salmon - steelhead - salmon - steelhead - ouch!)

I figured a couple of weeks ago fishing was pretty much over with for catch and release. Being a gluton for punishment and having my nieces over for the holidays I decided to take them fishing at skanewa the 22nd. sunday . We fished 3 hours hooked and landed 4 sent 3 packing and kept one. One was about 7 pounds and the others went between 12 and 16 pounds. The biggest took my 13 year old niece 20 minutes to land lots of fight left in him. talked to the guy checking peoples fish he said maybe 1 in 50 were bright. They do put stealhead in but not till about the end of february of course the lake close's then. If you want to catch and release or take the kids for some fun not a bad place to go. I have my calendar marked for next year.

Fished the last two days and caught two fish that were still in good shape. They dumped a load of fish while we were there. Fishing was slow.
