Size 11

Worn for one brief trip up and down the driveway during which I determined I had ordered one size too large.

Do they run small or large in fit

I have had a few pairs of Riverwalkers and have always worn a size 11 in those, so I ordered 11 in the Rock Grips thinking that would/should fit the same. As it turns out, the 11's are too big and 10's fit me better. So, to answer your question directly, compared to another Patagonia model they run big by about half a size i think. They don't seem much longer, but the boot overall and especially toe box seems to be higher volume.

Coley, I'd like to give them a shot but......


....already have a pair of size 11 Simms Rivershed w/ a studded felt sole & they are just a 1/2 size small.

I wear a size 10 1/2 EE in my Danner work boots, but when fishing I have the poly liner & then a thick Smart-wool sock & the neo bootie off my waders.....it gets cramped in that Simms toe box, especially on my right foot.


You think a Pattie 11 is a 1/2 size bigger than a Simms 11?


Cuz thats what I need.

Hard to say Brad. The only Simms boots I have tried on at the G4's and that was a few years back. As you described, I do remember the toebox being lower volume, but for me that was a good thing. I just couldn't bring myself to endure the extra weight of the Simms boots, although I think are superior with regard to durability and performance.
