Yes, I was lucky and got the same one you got. I’ve been out scouting but haven’t seen sign of any bears yet. I’m thinking maybe it’s still just a little early and they’re still snoozing in their dens.

I was amazed to see how many people applied for them. I saw some fresh piles the other day, but very seldom see bear in the CF.

I usually do well (11 bears in eleven years) up on the OP calling, but have never tried to even look for them in the spring. I know they are after grass, flowers, skunk cabbage, cambuim, etc, but I wonder if they will respond to a predator call or a cow call in the spring?

where do you get the numbers for how many people applied this year? I was not fortunate enough to draw a permit, just wondering what my odds were.

No I didn't. By the time I got home and took my nap there wasn't enough time!

Besides, I think I decided I'm just going to go ahead and buy a new set of tires. These have 56,000 miles on them. I guess I got enough use out of them. I'm going to do a little more research. I'm trying to decide between Toyo Open Country's and BFG All Terrains. I checked Costco online and they seem to have a good price on the BFG's.

Did you find the sandwiches I didn't eat and forgot in your truck? (if not they're on the floor in front of the passenger seat, should still be good tomorrow if you wanna eat them)
