Yes, I was lucky and got the same one you got. I’ve been out scouting but haven’t seen sign of any bears yet. I’m thinking maybe it’s still just a little early and they’re still snoozing in their dens.

I was amazed to see how many people applied for them. I saw some fresh piles the other day, but very seldom see bear in the CF.

I usually do well (11 bears in eleven years) up on the OP calling, but have never tried to even look for them in the spring. I know they are after grass, flowers, skunk cabbage, cambuim, etc, but I wonder if they will respond to a predator call or a cow call in the spring?

where do you get the numbers for how many people applied this year? I was not fortunate enough to draw a permit, just wondering what my odds were.

Are you sure I am who you think I am? I am not sure who I am.
Don't blow my cover. LOL

Thanks for the compliment.

Are you going out this weekend? I was supposed to predator call for Hairy Ape in the morning but I am still waiting for his phone call. HINT HINT

Anyway Rick, if you don't have one picked out I found some real fresh sign the last couple of days. PM me if you want the road #'s

No I didn't. By the time I got home and took my nap there wasn't enough time! laugh

Besides, I think I decided I'm just going to go ahead and buy a new set of tires. These have 56,000 miles on them. I guess I got enough use out of them. I'm going to do a little more research. I'm trying to decide between Toyo Open Country's and BFG All Terrains. I checked Costco online and they seem to have a good price on the BFG's.

Did you find the sandwiches I didn't eat and forgot in your truck? frown (if not they're on the floor in front of the passenger seat, should still be good tomorrow if you wanna eat them) wink

Sandwiches left in my truck? I wondered what that smell was. wink I will feed them to my buddy today. laugh

Speaking of smells, did you get that skunk smell off? Remember to wipe down your range finder.....

As I told you I am going out shooting/scouting today and I will let you if I find any fresh sign.
