I'm kind of a taxidermy nut, I have quite a few mounts in my house.
Do any of you guys?
Post up some pics if you'd like to share some of your trophies.
I'm still waiting for the right fish to put on the wall with a good repro mount, but I have quite a few big game mounts.
I'll post some pics ASAP.

Here's a coues whitetail I shot in the Arizona desert last December. For those that don't know about them, Coues are a small relative of the eastern whitetail - very very tricky buggers to hunt.

I've also got a nice muley from the Okanogan in north central WA - will need to scan those pics first before I can post them.

Is that a wolf under the elk? The claws on that bear are looong. I've got an elk shoulder mount & bear skin on the other wall with lots of deer racks but no pics. Here are a few I have pics of.

Quite the collection. I only have two salmon mounted. One is a 70 lber from the Kenai, and a 44lber from the Smith River. I have since beat the 44 lber with a 51 lber from the same river.

I'll never understand why people shoot bears, cats, or canines?

Some people will never understand dragging a fish through the water by its lips.

At least they swim away to fight another day!I'm not an anti hunting nut, I just stick to flock and herd animals.

cats and bears depending where and when you shoot a bear are great eatin and you need to balance all things or you can have problems with predetors

I agree, there does need to be a balance. It's not nice to see diseased and famished prey. I guess it was the stuffed wolf that made me angry, he looks too much like my "Chief". I hear bear is tasty, but never had it. And I do take the ol .357 with me when fishing in cat country.
Didn't mean to rustle too many feathers here.
