It turned out to be a pretty good one, we finished with 4 bucks out of 6 guys. Unfortunately there were no monsters taken by us this year but it was a fun one...

Here's my buddy Phil's 4x3


My buddy Chad's 3x2


My buddy Justin took a decent 3x3 and Chris a 2x2 with an eyeguard that we didn't get any pics of....

I did pass up 2 forky's and 1 smaller 3x3 but went empty handed as I was trying to shoot something as nice as if not bigger than this one I took last year...


Looking forward to the 2007 hunt this next year...

stlhdr1, Could you tell me what rifle those are you guys are shooting, I am very confused on the whole exposed cap issue. I don't see how those rifles could have an exposed cap. No worries just curious.

Loomis. Some in-line rifles have a bolt that leaves the cap exposed to the elements when it is locked down. It may only be a quarter of a inch gap but let it be be known that rain, snow, sticks, and moisture can still ruin your day through that quarter of an inch.
