Nice to see capable hands running the boat AND the net. Also nice to see that from a conservation/stewardship perspective, this kid GETS IT! MEMORIES... of how it USED to be. Sad to think how abysmal the K/K king fishery has become in less than TWO chinook generations.

Does not seem to matter which watershed. Chinook salmon are getting hit across their range. Most rivers in CA, PNW and BC, the Kenai Pen, Kodiak Island, Bering Sea/Yukon River, and the list goes on. Not sure why but regardless of where we look, it's discouraging. And NOAA Fish fails to take appropriate action while the fish continue to slip away.
