Also I have found them at Wall Mart in 1/4 oz and 1/8 oz, looks like the same size wire. _________________________ DUM DUM

humble-hubby Fry Registered: 05/14/12 Posts: 37 Loc: CHEHALIS, WA	Gami 2x strong. Nothing else is at the same level. Brad will pour them up but you have to buy them and send them to Brad's. The mustads are very similar with slightly lighter wire and not as sharp. I looked long and hard but they were just not as desirable (but still adequate). I think I remember mustads being a size smaller too (but not sure). If you like gami 2x strong's shape then you will be happy with the hook. You'll never bend one out on a fish and they are sharp! If you want a bigger gap or sickle shape then this isn't the answer.

I think they run a size different. Also, have a tug-of-war with the hooks. I did. Mustad and owner lost. The Owners are actually quite weak in my make-shift tests and in the field. I have bent owners out a bunch of times on fish.

The 2x strong are the same dimensions only lots stronger. You will have a hard time bending those out on a fish. I have tried, lots!
