I shoot a 70lb PSE Brute and have been using the factory PSE sight that came with the bow. I can get decent groups out to 70 yards with it. However, at the end of the season I started to think I'm limiting my potential with that sight. So, I went ahead and ordered a custom Black Gold Ascent. It's a 3 pin slider sight, with a 4" dovetail, tool-less micro height and windage adjustments, and it's got the vengeance head on it with micro pin gap adjustments. I opted for .010" pins which I like the looks of so far and as with other Black Gold sights it has the photo chromatic lens over the fiber optics that dims in bright light so there's no halo effect on the pins. I'll be heading into my local shop, The Nock Point early this week to get it dialed in. Also, I'll be getting a Kenmore Gun range membership later this month so if you go there, just look for the guy who shoots a sight that is far too fancy for his bow. Haha.

Looks spendy, heavy and with a lot of moving parts.

I like my bullet proof spot hoggs but archery is all about personnel preference so I'm sure it will work great for you smile

Spendy...yes. Heavy...surprisingly not. But not nearly as spendy as Spot Hogg slider sights. I'm a believer in you're only as good as your sight allows to some extent. I'm pumped to get it dialed in. About six months til ninja status in the timber. wink

Just mounted it on the bow. And took it outside at 5:45pm and the pins are bright as hell! It looks like I've got a light on my sight. This thing will be epic for hunting in deep, dark hell holes this year. My old sight was a major fail when it came to low light conditions. Headed to the shop tomorrow to dial her in at 20 and then off to kenmore later this week.
