I'm at a loss for words and I'm having a hard time understanding what has happened to our country; our liberties and our freedoms. The assault on our 2nd and 4th continues. While the below doesn't stand a snow balls hell in chance of passing, it just further proves intent of the Commie bastards. http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2020373291_westneat17xml.htmlhttp://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?bill=5737&year=2013Kline & the other cronies are lying through their teeth because they got caught. The original 5737 was edited sometime in the middle of last night to remove the search provision and yet there is no mention of it in the change history. I'm sorry, but I cannot find the original version at this time, but it is laced somewhere in the 45+ pages of comments if you care to check. IMO not only does Kline, Kohl-Wells and Murray need to be removed from office IMMEDIATELY, but also anyone who is deceiving the public and hiding ANY and ALL modifications to bills after they have been submitted. To add, here's the past 6396 which has the exact same language. 2010.http://apps.leg.wa.gov/documents/billdocs/2009-10/Pdf/Bills/Senate%20Bills/6396.pdf This bill with this language has already been introduced at least three times by the same gang, and reintroduced twice more. And Washington Ceasefire spokespeople have already testified in favor at least twice: Ralph Fascitelli for SB 6396 on January 26, 2010, and DeAnna Martin for SB 5475 on January 25, 2005. ______________________________________________________________ Are you mad as hell yet?

Reefer - I cut and pasted most of that except for the first paragraph.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wonder if this is grounds for a recall? Failure of competency; willfully editing a bill after submission and violating the 2nd and 4th amendments. Kline got a little over 34K votes in 2010 at 25% puts it at 8.5K signatures. That's a doable figure.

They always say, we’ll never go house to house to take your guns away. But then you see this, and you have to wonder.” input Todd? Here's some easy input... Who has had a gun grabbed since 2008 after Obama became President? Don't bother...we all know the answer...not one single one of you...ever. Not one. Here's a quiz for you...what's the single, solitary piece of legislation that the Obama Administration has put forward and got passed that affects our gun rights? Here's a hint...don't check your email inbox for all the easily debunked lies, nor should you check the NRA website for it. Fish on... Todd

Like I said, pretty clear that you are not at a loss for words. I don't have the time to get worked up over bills that won't go. They always say, we’ll never go house to house to take your guns away. But then you see this, and you have to wonder.” input Todd? How bout some input from you? I asked for Todd's reply because the quote was from a lawyer......blood brother stuff, you know? Now that it has been cleared up as a "mistake".......who the Hell believes that?.......we're all good again, right? Stand your ground, Todd.

Wait...I guess you guys are either really smart, or really stupid...either way I can't figure out what you're talking about.
Which of you have had a gun grabbed?
Who else has had a gun grabbed due to that Socialist Marxist Nazi Somali Muslim Nigerian Kenyan Manchurian in the White House?
There are two things that drive the guns and ammo industries...Democrats that are used to spread fear amongst the faithful, and the faithful, who clearly are the instigator behind the saying about fools and money.
The guns and ammo industry, along with their whorish talking heads at the NRA, are laughing all the way to the bank...and they're laughing at you guys.
Fish on...
Todd

By the way, since I doubt you got it in your weekly right wing fool email list, or in your NRA alert list, but the one, single piece of legislation championed by the Obama Administration that is now part of our legal world as gunowners is...drum roll...
We are now allowed to carry in National Parks, thanks to President Obama.
There's your big moves made by the Obama Administration...he expanded your right to carry to national parks.
And that's the guy you snivelers are worried about...instead you should be worried about who keeps lying to you about gun rights, and why...instead of sending them checks.
Fish on...
Todd

Yeah, Hank...because even the Obama Administration is hoarding bullets because it's afraid it will ban iteself from getting any.
That makes sense.
Fish on...

That’s no gun-rights absolutist talking, but Lance Palmer, a Seattle trial lawyer and self-described liberal who brought the troubling Senate Bill 5737 to my attention. It’s the long-awaited assault-weapons ban, introduced last week by three Seattle Democrats. Above as reported in the Seattle Times........ All of the above just chock choke full of RWWJ's, eh?

“I’m a liberal Democrat — I’ve voted for only one Republican in my life,” Palmer told me. “But now I understand why my right-wing opponents worry about having to fight a government takeover.” He added: “It’s exactly this sort of thing that drives people into the arms of the NRA.” I have been blasting the NRA for its paranoia in the gun-control debate. But Palmer is right — you can’t fully blame them, when cops going door-to-door shows up in legislation.
I spoke to two of the sponsors. One, Sen. Adam Kline, D-Seattle, a lawyer who typically is hyper-attuned to civil-liberties issues, said he did not know the bill authorized police searches because he had not read it closely before signing on. “I made a mistake,” Kline said. “I frankly should have vetted this more closely.”
If this sh.it wasn't so tragic it'd be funny.
Democrats are tripping over their wifes' di.ck to sign onto "sensible" gun control so fuc.king fast that they'll sh.it on more than just 1 Consitutional right. AND then there are people that will ignore it or defend it.
I want to see the first Sheriff Deputy go to someones home and demand a "peek" around.

Todd - I don't belong to the NRA. Never have and never will. I've told you before that I'm an independent. I get my news from a variety of sources both left and right (equal part Huffpo and Brietbart etc). I actually compare news from both sides; see what it said and note what is omitted and then make up my own mind.
Its not about guns. Its about our freedoms and our rights. I don't want ANY of them treaded upon, because once they are gone...they are gone.
Bringing attention to a potential problem before it happens and addressing it is the adult way of handling things. Had that bill passed without calling attention to the obvious violation of the 4th, well then....by golly...what then?
"The people will not understand the importance of the Second Amendment until it is too late."
You may wish to wait until its too late. I will not. Now ain't we both content?
PS - I knew about the NP carry law. While I'm glad Obama helped to get it passed, that's not a new development AND it was authored by....drum roll....NOT Obama! You can thank Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) as the bill's author, but feel free to take the credit if it helps your cause.

Yo Jake- at a loss for words to describe the idiots in charge, not to defend my freedoms.
When I come over to visit Don, we'll have to meet up and chill by the pool or whatever. Heard good things about you. Its all good dude.

Hell yes. Don's been raving on that action and I'm game. I can't dive too deep because of my ears, but anything under 12 feet and its game on! I want to hit the beaches for surf fishing (love your pics) and of course I MUST get an Ahi. Hope to be there in the next couple of months. Peace.

In the commission of a crime, or showing the intent to commit a crime, there are points along the way where even the attempt becomes a chargeable offense. This is called a "significant step", showing the specific intent to commit a crime.
These three senators showed their intent, and by their support they took a significant step showing their willingness to violate primarily the 4th amendment. Legal action should be taken against them, regardless of the fact that they amended the bill.
Mistake my ass.

I just checked my guns and one was missing. I was going to freak out but than I remembered I stashed it under the couch after some beers late one night.

Your Post is right on! you should be proud of yourself for standing up for your beliefs. It's amazing how the Liberals don't want to hear the truth. The bottom line is The Constitution is being ignored. The sad part .......It's coming from the Top Idiot in charge. PURE TYRANNY. Funny how I have been associated with the N.R.A. for over 30 years and a Life member for 25 and all of a sudden everyone knows more about them than me. Bravo Todd you should be a politician you go right in attack and right away put your opponent on Defense. Way to much MSNBC but I Like your style We need you to run the W.D.F.W. You got my vote.
