Not as good as these guys...

Enjoy. You'll be puckered up around 6:45 if you weren't already.

OK, it was one thing to do it going upriver, but going down?

Crazy!

if you watch close there's one part in there when they're bombing up river where the hydraulics just about pull the sled into the rocks. Those suspension seats they have are pretty slick too.

I couldn't find any info on the BWC boats page about what they power them with. I'd assume they drop a big ol' gnarly V8 in there. They are the first boats in history to safely run that gorge.

I'm guessing there are TWO gnarly V8s in them

Looking at photos in their website, it appears that they are running twin Cadillac supercharged V-8s.

The company is located in Meridian, ID

Hairy for sure, but I'm sure just an everyday challenge to the guys that build and know the boats and what they can do. Just guessing these are company men.

Am thinking HCM on the Peyett is just a tad more technical.
That looks similar to upper Hells in the spring.

Might also be different in the later spring/early summer if more water is coming out of the Great Lakes and down the river. Looks to be a late winter/early spring run based the trees not being leafed out. Still impressive. Their home page classified the waters as Class 6 rapids.

Oh lets not beat around the bush...those guys have some serious talent and a set of balls. that gorge is just plain nasty and very fast.
