Decent price point rods. Just picked up a Fenwick for $90 also for salmon. I would check them out also.

I own two. One for salmon and a lighter weight one for steelhead. For their price they are really decent rods.

I don't own but seeing many......both individuals and guides.

Cabelas, Fish Eagle, is a good buy for the $$$$$$$ better if you can get them when Cabelas has the 1/2 price sale.

Good rod for the price, I like the 9.5 float rod for all purpose fishing except chucking spoons and spinners (the action is just a bit fast for my tastes when chucking hardware).

Don't pay more than $70 (regular price is around $90) for this rod, it is frequently on sale as it is this week at either Dick's or Sports Authority (it was one of the two) 20% or 25% off according to the flyer in the Sunday newspaper.

I have a little plug rod that I really like. Just picked up a 9'9" T-40X that is a kick ass rod for the price.

they are the best of the low end rods. much better than the berkley rods.. better than many of the mid range lamiglas and loomis rods.
attention to detail on the build is as good s any gear rod on the market

Well, we all know salmon and steelhead love the color pink. You could have a pink rod to go with your pink yarn, pink corkies and pink jigs. wink

Yep. And the T40-X is even better. I did get it 30% off. And they have lifetime warranties.
