Well, I promised an update from the Wynoochie. Sure you want to hear it? Fished it hard on Thursday. Hooked 5, landed 2. The river is very low and gin clear. The fish were few and far between. Does anybody know if the gillneters are still doing the Chehalis? That would explain the lack of new fish. Thanks Rob...May not have been one of your typical 20 fish days, but as usual, I had a great time.

The net pressure on the Chehalis has been surprisingly light this year. I go over the chehalis bridge everyday so I get a first hand view of the net activity if there is any. There was a flurry in december but since, I've seen on average one net in the water about one day a week. That doesn't mean that's actually whats been going, just what I've seen personally.

I recall "letty" posting a few weeks back that the price of fish was keeping the netters off the water. So be it.
