What part of Oregon are you from there Pond? I'm in from the Beaverton area--always looking for new river information or mabye even a partner at times.

I live in Central Oregon (Redmond). I do alot of fishing around here. Deschutes, Davis Lake, Crane Praire, Metolius. I also do some fishing on the coast Siuslaw, Alsea, Siletz......Pond

Hey Pond, I used to hunt ducks on Davis Lake. How is the flyfishing for big trout on Davis these days?

Davis Lake was okay this year. I didn't get into the big double digit fish as I had hoped, but did get some in the 5 pound class. Someone put largemouth bass into the lake and I think that is having an effect on the trout having to compete for food.
