The takeout ( mud slide) under I-5 on the Stilly has had two cars stolen in the last ten days. One being a truck with a trailer! Hearing about more cars being broken into up around the Sauk also. Every theif and lowlife in east king co knows they have two sheriff units patrolling from the so county line to snoqualmie pass for two shifts a day . They will not investigate a property crime less than 10k. They also know that you do not have the right to defend your property any more. Talking to one of the home owners who lives near the mouth of the wallace, their house along with all the ones close by have all been burglarized recently along with multiple vehicle break ins at the parking spot along the tracks to get to the mouth of the wallace.
Apparently they like to ride their bikes up and down the tracks to find their next "pay check".

A couple of years ago my buddy saw two crack heads up at the Hwy side of proctor creek trying to sell a bunch of Loomis rods that had obviously been stolen. He called the Sheriff's dept. and they said they were to busy to head out that way! There making it a little to easy for these parasites.

Months back I was shuttling from Ben Howard pulling out at o dark thirty , a small sedan pulls in,see's US, high tails outta there back to sultan, we took pics of car when we were stopped at the train tracks in sultan before they took off on back roads....scam!!!!

I was born redneck. It took a lot of cultivating to become the bleeding heart liberal I am today. Seriously, I'm just advocating pragmatism. The justice system doesn't keep the perps off the street. You have to steal 6 or 7 cars to do jail time in WA. And LE says 90% of crimes are committed by the same repeat offenders. S/S/S pragmatically prevents recidivism.

I walked up on two dudes casing a parking area on the upper sky last summer. They had no rods or fishing gear, but they were "going fishing" when I asked him Whats up. He walked over to his little beater sedan and they boogied. I think it's fair to say beater sedans and beater pickups are standard equipment for Sky Valley meth heads.

I also had a shady dock worker approach me as I was launching @ Westport this summer and produce a Lowrance HDs10 head unit he wanted to sell me for $400.00. Huh? I didn't stop walking and asked him where the box and transducer were? .. and of course. I should have known..he left the transducer attached to his old boat.

last i heard, cobbly got the trailer back. dunno about the truck. i hunt at crescent lake most weekeends and this past one I made sure to drive through the parking lot at high bridge, just to look around. nothing suspicious at that time, but i'm going to start rolling through any time i'm there. if just driving through the parking lot can spook them, then why not. I would encourage others to do the same.
