can't remember which road takes you up to the N.Fork of the Sky, is it Rieter Rd.? Also if anyone else has advice on where to fish the N. Sound in the next few days I'd appreciate it. I have made up my mind to head out on foot and leave the sled in the driveway. After spending so much time in the driftboat over on the Oly Pen lately, I can't get myself to listen to that motor all day.
I'd really like some info on the Stilly too if anyone has any. What about the Snoqualmie?
As you can see I haven't made up my mind where I'm fishing but the weather is perfect and there "should" be some fish around.
"if you're not workin', go fishin'"

by the way: the sled is still for sale! I have to get fid of it before she'll let me buy a Bass Boat...summer is on it's way

Some old stomping grounds of mine ... not Reiter Rd, take the left after the confluence of the forks several miles futher up. Better check the regs though, I seem to recall it always close at the end of February when I fished it while I was going to school in Seattle.

Howdy,
The Index/Galena Rd. is the way up the N.F. Sky. (if you go to Index it's easy) Bob's right though, closed Feb 29. The N.F. Stillaguamish is always a good bet this time of year. It's open for gear until April 16th. The Hazel area offers big natives (Hazel is a good parking spot right on a big bending riprap about 5 miles east of Oso) If you hike upstream from this stretch about a half mile, there's a clay bank hole that isn't a secret, but is a long enough tromp to ease pressure. Pink/white jig might do the trick. It's C&R on wild fish, have some fun!

Hey Fishinfool,
I was wondering what the fish you caught were biting. Also,(I know you don't want to give up all your secret's) what type of water did you find them in, riffle? I grew up fishing the reformitory (when my Dad was a kid, my Grandpa owned that farm) even if I don't get a fish, I alway's feel lucky there cause I'm doing what I Love, not breaking rock's behind those wall's. Good Luck!
