My daughter turns 8 on Saturday and wants to go to the game. I've been to a number of games but have always had seats that are exposed to the elements.

Which sections do I need to be looking at to have a covered seat?

She's a little tomboy but I don't think she'll dig a downpour and 40 mph winds.

300 level middle sections (corners less so) are covered and available/affordable... stay back up in the upper half of that level to ensure you're out of the rain. I've been up there and the view is still completely good -- albeit a bit far -- to the field.

Bundle up though! And consider taking the bus or train to the game...
