I would like to hear more. I will listen with an open mind yet I will not forget that hatcheries were once heralded as the savior of salmon.

The National Review does have an agenda, although William Buckley was one of the most principled conservatives out there. Sadly, we lost his voice a few years ago and National Review appears to have succumbed to some of the noise from the right wing wackos.

IMO - its been WAY too short of a time frame to draw anything conclusive. La Nina and El Nino years have cyclical affects on current, nutrients and salmon populations, so you have to at least go through several cycles of each for a proper study.
