Maurice, I own a sled and a drift boat, my rule of thumb is that if he is there first than it is his water. When I am in my drift booat or sled and I see a guy waist deep I will do my best to go behind him. I understand that people have sucess in a hole and want to return the next day. Fact is most everybody els knows about it to. If it is to small and you want to fish with any way just ask him. I ask people all the time if they would be insulted if if fish there, 99% of the time they are so happy you ask they say yes.

Thanks, Large Marge! I've had drifters go behind me, in front of me, and almost run me over. I don't mind moving out of the way if someone can't control their boat, but it's a little hard to move quickly when your in waiste deep or higher. Maybe it's time I get a boat!
