I dont use these very much but I thought I would give them a try this year. Does any body have a suggestion on the color pattern or the color I should use? Also I dont care for the double treble hook, can I use the siwash? Will that affect the way it works?
Thank you for any help.

The magnum wiggle wart is one of my main tools for fishing salmon. I like the red/blue
or the red/green pirate. like to pull these in my Driftboat or just throw and retrive them from the bank. Just remember that its single point barbless hooks required these days in most rivers.

I use mag. warts on chinook My favorite color is the silver with a black back and a flame orange spot on the belly.
Dump the trebles, leave the rear split ring on. Take the slit ring from the front hook, add it to the rear slit ring. Then add a 3/0 siwash attach so the point rides up.
I back troll them just like a hot shot for steelhead. The seem to work better on fish that are on the move.

Aerofly: Depends on what kind of fish, ie..silvers, dogs, kings....Pink is my favorite for silvers....for chinook the colors Steely slammer and Willierower, are excellent, dogs...anything green. Many of the rivers in Grays Harbor County is single hook, doesn't affect the "motion" of the plugs.
If you interested.....I have about 400 plugs, that are for sale....many are used, but many are still in the boxes....Most Warts, hotshots, Kwik Fish, and others....

Hey, DRIFTERWA I would be seriously interested in the wiggle warts you have, Do you have any in the flame orange or solid orange color either in the normal size or the mag. warts. Stlhdr1@hotmail.com

I think the color should match the conditions of the water. Make adjustments accordingly The hot color for the Columbia is the orange and if you go else where the favorite color changes. Less color in water= less color on plug.
