4 days of school left, summer runs in my favorite river........ Does life get any better?????????!

Hey Bankwalker, why don't you just shut up!!!!! You punk, just knock it off. (can you tell I'm jealous or what????) HAHA Man, I'll give you this word of advice. CHERISH what you have now. I remember being 16, working nights, and having my days free. I'd spend all summer floating the rivers, bankfishing, just having fun. (there were a few times I had mysterious breakdowns and had to call into work and tell them I'd be in the next day). I really miss those days. You can't just call into work sick (especially since some of my managers fish the same rivers I do and wouldn't be good for my career to be caught fishing). Keep the lines tight and take advantage of your freedom while you have it, it doesn't last for long.........

I`ve already taken off over 10 days since February just for fishing..heh-heh..

I enjoyed those days as a teenager myself. Enjoyed myself so much I became a teacher and just like you young bucks...... Schools almost out.

Ah the days of old. Well I also remember not having the money to buy that new reel, rod, fly line and gas. Those days are to be cherished. a life moves move forward it only gets better sure age and kids slow you down but, I'll tell you having your kids look at you like you are the biggest hero they have i also great. My kids haven't reached the fishing age yet but I can't wait for tha to come. I can't imaging it getting much better than seeing your son or daughter catching their first steelhead.

This sucks. I am getting to be as old as dirt, and I'm jealous. Right now, I'm cheating and trying to escape from how to figure out a way of converting about 17,500 pigs in to Pepperoni next week. If they only new what I had in store for them. You'll see them at a Pizzaria near you in about a month. If you keep taunting me, I'll start playing the vacation trump card while you are in school next November and I'll be fishing and bow hunting monster whitetails. Enjoy it guys, because some day you'll be working like the rest of us. These are the best times of your life. Have fun and treat people with respect, and you'll never go wrong. Smack one for me.

Well Chris, you need to REREAD my post. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you're still in school, but I was being SARCASTIC. (I guess raging hormones do cloud your vision, I never believed my Dad until now). But I was stating I was jealous, since I remember the old days, and then gave him advice, since it won't last and once you become an adult, carefree days are a thing of the past.

Schools out for Summer!! Well, almost.
Only about six hours and 15 minutes until I'll be done with my last college final of the year! I have been studying like a mad dog all day but I had to take a break and check out the board.

Life isnt all fun and games for us skool guys. I work 6 days a week like alot of people. Good thing it gets dark out around 9ish. =) skunked today =( there's always tommorrow.....tight lines....
