I've been on vacation staying in Ocean City the last two weeks. You can keep 2 wild Coho. I've managed to scratch out a few most days at the mouth of the river. You won't find a prettier spot to fish. All chrome, averaging 7-9, biggest about 11. This is one of the remaining rivers I've never fished in this state. Very tide influenced and never got blown out of shape. The Hump as you know is chocolate milk. I hope this post didn't piss anyone off. You know zipper lip stuff. It has slowed down a bunch but there are fresh fish coming in every day. My report for the year.

P.S Only one gill netter above the # 109 bridge ,so you can get to them before indian John or the seals get them.

known locally as the river of 1000 casts. never done any good there, and the river is a gear eater like no other. seen some really nice silvers rolling around there though.

The kid made a float today. He said it was high, muddy and puking whole trees.

This river sounds like the perfect spot for my cousin. He's been looking for a river to fish for the Boy Scout jamboree he's organizing. Looks like the beach there should have plenty of room for the 90 tents they'll need to set up. 185 scouts are signed up, with den fathers and chaperones, I think the total number of fishermen should be around 240... I know some of them wanted to go clamming, too. Is there any good clamming beaches around there I should tell him about?

FYI, just kept one fish out of probably 12-15, and also gave one to a family that weren't having any luck. Pretty liberal fishing regs on that river.

Wife and I stopped into the Green Lantern once about two years ago. Three guys sitting in there and a waitress.

Got dirty looks from the waitress when we went in. We had a seat and she just stood at the counter talking with the guys. She never even acknowledge we where sitting there and didn't even say bye or kiss may ass when we eventually got up and left!

Guess we weren't of the right persuasion for her liking!

Never go in there again!

I stopped by on Saturday, and there must have been 100 guys fishing there in town!

Kidding, of course. Probably 10-12 guys fishing, but I didn't see any caught or roll in the 10 minutes that I watched about two hours into the morning flood.

Love-hate fishery.....................never really have timed the tide correctly due to being down that way for clamming, but have hooked a few over the years. However the green lantern has always provided a nice warm dry place to get a burger before a clam dig..........Good luck,

SZ
