No way in or out of Aberdeen/Hoquiam.

Aberdeen Bluff collapsed overnight and slide has blocked all four lanes in/out of town.

Slide also blocking N/S traffic thru 101 mimed north of Hoquiam.

Major flooding in downtown Aberdeen. It's low tide now and the estuary is expected to rise nearly 7.5 ft and it's still raining.

Ocean Shores Hwy (109) blocked both directions due to slide just west of Hoquiam High side of town

Hwy 101 blocked in both directions north of Hoquiam near Ocean Beach Rd (Bernard Creek).

Home(s) have slid into the roadway at Queets Ave at the base of Beacon Hill in Hoquiam.

13 corners might be the only way to town???????

Stay safe all. I caught the facebook traffic about the craziness this morning. I thought they "stabilized" that bluff like 20 years ago.

6" in my rain gauge since yesterday afternoon. Work got cancelled today. I believe Blue Slough is open into S. Aberdeen….don't know about crossing the bridge, if that's even an option.

High tide's just before 1PM. If downtown's a mess now it's really going to get interesting later today. hope the businesses have stockpiled sandbags!

Nope Wishkah is under also. Probably where the river runs next to the wet land up pass Ellison's.

Westport Hwy blocked just outside S Aberdeen near the college.... no slide, just an impassable RIVER of water rushing across the highway.

Right now, the only way into Aberdeen/Hoquiam is thru Cosi via S Monte. Just not sure what's in store for anyone trying to venture into town.

S Aberdeen and Cosi could be in BIG trouble as the tide rises all morning.

Blue Slough will be closed if it isn't already.

Radio had blue down with a slide. DW went at it and you can get up over 13 corners to the East Hoquiam and down but I doubt when the tide comes in that will work either.

Yep. That's my worry. According to a co-worker, my workplace was already surrounded by water…..and that was around low tide early this morning. Going to go for a drive and do some assessing on my own and maybe get a few pics.

The only other time I couldn't make it to work was the big windstorm a few years ago. KDUX said only lifted trucks were making it through Blue Slough. Staying home today.

Bluff caved in right across from lakeside where it says welcome to Aberdeen..alot of people standing around but didn't see any machinery there yet..

all the sloughs are backed up so theres standing water everywhere u go.. but I did notice that its dropping some.. and the rain has eased off to just showers..

High tide in Aberdeen today at 12:50 P.M. 10.8 feet. For this area that is a mega high and I would guess one of the highest of the year.

Gonna be more damage today?

Looks like we will lose our heating ducts under our house. Not as bad as some others in the area.

Highest I have seen here on the East side of Hoquiam and I've lived in the same house for 60 years.
