the hatchery at gorst is co-managed by the Suquamish tribe and the WDFW and the local Kitsap Pogie club volunteers the labor. No egg take from the returning fish.

The Funny thing is, I told close friends and family that the run was on, but not one of them showed for it. The next day though the mob was there. I wasn't the only one scouting that spot.

It was a great run I caught around 11 kings out of there for the season. The fishing was good for about a week and a half and then the Nets came out and literally whipped out the entire run.

Sad days after that. Yes! it was Gorst creek. You got it the state and tribes introduce Chinook to this little creek to feed the nets it was never a Chinook spawning creek before then. Strictly a Kill run!

It will be interesting to see what goes down this year. It is becoming more difficult to access the spot due to private property restrictions. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets closed down all together.

No where did anyone talk about loss of resource due to fisherman over crowding rivers. Maybe a loss of ethics? I don't fish rivers like the skokomish and the puyallup because I can't stand idiots snagging telling me salmon don't bite when I know differently. My favorite river this year had something like 20 rigs at a spot that just a few years ago maybe had 7 on opening morning. half of those had corkie and yarn half of those guys got citations for snagging from the game warden. Also removed a couple bags full of garbage from the bank. That is the kind of things that I was talking about. Not loss resource. A$$.

Why can’t people have a good day and just enjoy and move on. The internet makes life hard on people that need social gratification from fishing success. This is one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve ever read. Let’s see…don’t tell anyone and no one will know what a stud I am…tell people and my spot is ruined. Not that complicated to me.

The Simple fact of the matter is that if there are fish to be had people are going to show. In today's society with the technology available there is no such thing as secret waters, unless your delusional. Of course you can think that you have that secret spot all to yourself and even better when the mob shows you can blame me right the hot spot sell out.

If the fish are there the mob is sure to be coming with or without my help. But hey if it makes you feel better just for you guys I'll take the hit. Yep! Your home waters have gone to [Bleeeeep!] all because of me! All my fault, taken all the blame, I did it, I sold out your hot spot. Selling secret water, bringing all the drunks and the fools. After all we wouldn't want you guys to have all those beautiful fish to yourselves now would we?
