I haven't seen it in print...but I heard the Skokie is float fishing from 106 up to 101 bridge. It is closed from the power down on the flats.llll

While this is good, most of the best bobber holes are below the 106 bridge. The water above the bridge has more moving water and fewer slow holes where the fish stack up. By the time the egg tossers get to throw something at them, there wont be a fish without a few hooks hanging from them. Best would be to close it above the bridge until later in the year or bobber only for the first 2 weeks for the entire section.

So one may still be able to float fish / Bobber dog with a long leader and still rip them...................Just sayin. Good luck,

Any word on if that section went to TP restrictions or is it still just hand wipe?

Lots of good float fishing up there. A guy can snag with anything, but it will be kinda hard with a long leader hanging straight down...but I'm now a snagger.
