Nothing like living in the moment! At some point Nate you will realize that you have waisted your entire life sitting in a trailer park taking 3 day weekends one after the other. You should spend that 2k on 2 $1000 dollar plane tickets for you and your chick, you will be stuck wherever the plane lands but I think a change of scenery would do you some good. I also know you've never flown in a plane (lofl) so at least that will be cool or terrifying for you. Life experience sort of thing ya know? I mean if your going to take a spontaneous day off you might as well go all out since taking a day off is actually the least spontaneous thing you have ever done.

If you were really smart (lol again) and wanted to do your chick a huge favor you'd buy just one $2000 plane ride for yourself and disafuckinppear. Once your lazy ass is out of the picture then maybe she could meet a real man with a job and a house that doesn't have an unemployed dudes mom in it.

went to another A's game last night, they lost (surpise!) but it was still a good time.

The A's need a new ballpark. But I remember seeing Rickey Henderson when I was a kid and he will always be my favorite lead off hitter of all time. Billy Martin. Crazy George. I have been a Giants fan since the 80's ,loved seeing Will the Thrill.

I once heckled Ricky Henderson to the point be envited me down to the field so he could kick my ass .

It was the same game that Jay Buhner hit the first cycle in M's history. After 15 innings there were only about 1000 people left in the stands. Perfect heckling conditions. As I recall it was "sissy man" that finally got his goat.

Oddly enough he was always one of my favorite players too.

The M's business model is not about winning games. It's providing entertainment and opportunity to watch big league ball. They are a player development team for the big markets. If people stopped supporting them, they might try to put a quality product on the field. Long term deals to Felix and Cano prove this.

I never considered that ONE extra game as the playoffs/post season but its all semantics at this point.

Technically you are right but I doubt if the Royals lost that game last year that Royal fans would be touting the 2014 team as a playoff team.
